A '''debug mode''' is available in the PC Edition of {{KRZ}}. Disabled by default, this mode includes functions and features that are not intended to be accessed during normal play, and are not polished enough to be considered for inclusion in the TV Edition.
Debug tools may be enabled by editing [[{{code|settings.krz]]}}, and by changing the {{code|value}} in the line {{code|<setting name="console" value="'''False'''" />}} to instead read {{code|'''True'''}}.
Some keyboard shortcuts only work with a QWERTY layout. If you are not using a keyboard of this sort, switch your operating system to QWERTY before launching the game.

== High resolution screenshot tool ==
This tool allows players to take screenshots at a much higher resolution than at their native monitor resolution. All screenshots taken using this tool can be found in the Screenshots subfolderfolder, generated in the same location as settings.krz.
"Resolution factor" refers to a multiplier based on a player's in-game resolution, i.e. a factor of 1 is native resolution, while a factor of 2 would be double that.

Note that high-resolution screenshots only work with "direct" rendering – the game must be set at the default brightness level (4), "modern" rendering mode, and a resolution below 4K. This information is also displayed in the debug information panel ({{Shortcut|\}}) under "RENDER."

Also note that higher resolutions consume significant amounts of system memory. If you experience a crash when taking a high resolution screenshot, reduce the resolution factor and try again.
* {{Shortcut|F9}} takes a high resolution screenshot.
* {{Shortcut|Left Ctrl + Up Arrow}} increases the resolution factor by 1.* /{{Shortcut|Left Ctrl + Down Arrow}} increases/decreases the resolution factor by 1.* {{Shortcut|Left Ctrl + Page Up}} multiplies the resolution factor by 2.* /{{Shortcut|Left Ctrl + Page Down}} multiplies/divides the resolution factor by 2.

* {{Shortcut|Left Ctrl + Left & Right Arrows}} advances or rewinds the current of time (changes shadows and weather).
