DR. TRUMAN: Typically, we see daydreaming, deja vu, pensiveness, fugue states, irregular perception of time ... about fifteen percent of patients report a generalized sensation of "lateness."

Dr. Truman is a physician who, in Act II, treats Conway's leg. He has also diagnosed Lula with arthritis.

In the past, Dr. Truman lived in a small neighborhood on the east edge of Bowling Green, but now lives permanently in the forest. He was previously – or perhaps still is – in debt due to medical school expenses.

His name is a possible reference to U.S. president Harry S. Truman.
